I caught Macy outside a while back, playing with a little lizard.  Gotta love a kitten playing!

Macy is THE sweetest cat.....she's a rescue, growing from a scrawny kitten who had taken up residence under our front porch, into this beauty of a girl.  After weeks of feeding her and inching closer, she finally let me pick her up and love on her.  Now she is feeding my soul :)  

(P.S.  The lizard got away!)

Mighty Oaks

I took these photos at Fontainebleau State Park.....the oak trees there are gorgeous!  I have many wonderful memories of my girls playing on these huge trees when they were young.  The beauty of the oaks always leaves me in awe.

God's creations in nature always feed my soul at the deepest level.....I hope they feed yours too!

Happy New Year

I got this from a friend a few years ago.  It seems fitting to remember it here at the beginning of a new year.....

There is nothing,

     No circumstance,

     No trouble,

     No testing-

That can ever touch me until, first of all,

     It has gone past God

     And past Christ

     Right through to me

If it has come that far,

     It has come with great purpose,

     Which I may not understand

      at the moment -

But as I refuse to become panicky

     As I lift my eyes up to Him

And accept it as come from His throne

For some great purpose of blessing

     to my heart,

No sorrow will disturb me,

No trial will ever disarm me,

No circumstance will cause me to fret

     For I shall rest in the JOY

     Of what my Lord is

That is THE REST OF VICTORY.

Let this feed your soul.....I pray 2012 is a wonderful year!
